1) Spherical - known as Hilux (standard design).

2) Aspherical - Known as Nulux and

3) Bi-aspheric - Known as Nulux EP. Depending on your prescription and choice of frame we will advise you of which would be more beneficial. On the whole all forms are suitable but Nulux and Nulux EP will produce wider fields of view giving you less distortion at the edges of the lens i.e when you look to the sides. Nulux & EP are particularly suitable if you are long sighted because as a general rule you would suffer from reduced fields of view especially if your prescription becomes stronger. Another advantage of Nulux and Nulux EP is that the lenses will also be that much flatter and thus thinner.
